The McKenzie Assessment

McKenzie’s psychological assessment tool is an intelligent, high quality system that offers Managers and HR Departments an integrated assessment tool designed to be user friendly, cost effective and provide valuable and reliable input into selection decisions.

Using a battery of 10 assessments that all correlate against each other, the tool incorporates Team Styles, Conflict Management Styles, Personality, Learning Styles, Work Preferences, Activity Preferences, Leadership Style, various IQ measures, Key Motivators and Personal Values.

Its reliance on proven questionnaires (all with a solid research and development background), along with their integration in a carefully chosen package where they gain maximum synergy, and the power of the system to look across all dimension clusters, makes it one of the most comprehensive assessment and profiling systems on the market.

Assessment Administration

As a candidate, it takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete all 10 assessments. The process is very user-friendly as the tool is available on-line. If any problems are experienced, we offer a personal helpline that candidates can call to help them through the process. Alternatively, they have the option of using our facilities if more appropriate.

Reports & Feedback

Once the assessments are completed, we produce a series of reports and graphical outputs that are established from the trends that the individual demonstrates across the assessments. On receipt of the results from the candidate, we guarantee a full written report within 48 hours which includes:

  1. Capsule Summary – Highlights and Lowlights.
  2. Broad Picture Report – more detailed summary.
  3. Development Report – covering team membership, conflict handling, operational styles and personality.
  4. Filter Report – Managing the task, handling people, decision making and problems solving skills, and managerial/professional style.
  5. Occupational Preference Report.
  6. Two Graphical Summary Tables.

We are also able to offer verbal feedback directly to clients. This focuses on the candidate’s appropriateness for a particular position or advancement in their career.
