4-Day Leadership and Coaching Skills Workshop
This program combines the following workshops over four full days:
Day 1 - CONTRACT™
CONTRACT™ is an acronym for the 8 pillars of management; these pillars form the foundation on which a successful business is built. The day consists of discussing each of the 8 pillars in workgroups to ensure that the participants fully understand and can utilise the concepts. The workshop provides the format for understanding management, leadership and coaching. We ensure the participants understand the five roles each leader needs to play to successfully lead a team to success. Then we discuss the types of relationships we create with our team and how our time should be spent as we progress in our career.
Day 2 - REACT™
Day 2 begins with a review of Day 1 to ensure that the post-workshop work has been completed and to answer any remaining questions. Then we discuss time management and recognising competency in our team. REACT™ is an acronym for the one-minute coaching model. The day consists of learning, understanding and practicing the concepts of: Awareness, Questions, Emotional hijacking, Feedback, Coaching
Day 3 - PROACT™
The day starts with a review of Day 2 and the post workshop work. We discuss rapport-building skills and how to improve our ability to communicate. PROACT™ is an acronym for performance coaching and builds on the concepts learned on Day 2. Once again the group has the opportunity to practice the skills learned.
Day 4 - CONTACT™
Day 4 begins with a review of the previous day and the post-workshop work. We discuss how we can influence our team, including self-image and esteem, and how to inspire the team with a compelling vision. CONTACT™ is an acronym for a confronting issues model that provides a template for preparing to confront everyday issues in an empowering way. After learning the model, participants have the opportunity to practice it.
