McKenzie Induction Coaching
When employers take on a new employee, they will often supply them with a job description, which may be more of a “duties list” than a clear expectation of the demands and expected outputs of the role. The induction process often consists of nothing more than a tour of key facilities and an introduction to key personnel.
The reality of this is that the new employee may lack clarity in understanding the employer’s expectation of them in the first 90 days and separately in the first 180 days of their commencement. These significant initial periods can set the standard and lay the foundations for the new employee’s future career and often determine whether they will succeed or fail. It is essential that the employee is given a comprehensive understanding of their employer’s expectations and requirements in the first 90 days and the first 180 days.
McKenzie's Induction Coaching Program
McKenzie offers a formal, multi-stage Induction Coaching program that enables all stakeholders to accurately express their short-term expectations. We work with both the employer and employee in goal setting and identifying Key Performance Indicators for this important initial time period.
